How we checked it
- We start from Emtron's pinout page for this ECU, on its Resource Centre.
- Every pin is read again in Emtron's wiring harness specification for the ECU family, which lists each pin with its name, description and wire colour. A script compares them pin by pin.
- A pin is only shown when both name the same function. A pin the ECU's pinout marks NC is shown as not connected; where the family's harness specification lists something there, the page says so. A wire colour is shown only when a second Emtron harness specification gives the same colour for that pin name.
- Labels are Emtron's own words from the pinout page; notes are its words from the harness specification.
Where Emtron's documents disagree
A13: Emtron's KV Series wiring harness specification lists Power Ground (GND) on A13. The KV8 pinout lists the pin as NC (not connected). Shown: not connected, as in the KV8's own pinout.
A19: Emtron's KV Series wiring harness specification lists Power Ground (GND) on A19. The KV8 pinout lists the pin as NC (not connected). Shown: not connected, as in the KV8's own pinout.
