1. Service Description

ECU Recovery provides an automated ECU map file password recovery service. We process uploaded files to remove or reveal forgotten passwords from ECU map files that you own.

2. Intended Use

This service is designed exclusively for recovering your own forgotten passwords from your own ECU map files. By using our service, you confirm that:

You are the rightful owner of the ECU map file you upload
You are recovering a password that you originally set but have forgotten
You will not use this service to access files belonging to others without authorization

3. Payment & Refunds

Our service operates on a verify-first model. We confirm we can process your file before requesting payment. If the unlocked file does not function correctly in your ECU management software, you are entitled to a full refund.

Price: $149.99 per file (all ECU types)
Payment methods: PayPal, Cryptocurrency
Refund policy: Full refund if the delivered file is corrupted or non-functional

4. File Handling

Uploaded files are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Download links expire 24 hours after generation. We do not retain your files beyond the service period.

5. Limitation of Liability

ECU Recovery is not responsible for any misuse of this service. We are not liable for any damage to your ECU, vehicle, or engine resulting from the use of unlocked files. Use modified ECU maps at your own risk.

6. Disclaimer

We make no guarantees that every file can be processed. Support varies by ECU brand and firmware version. Unsupported files will not be charged.
