Which file your MINI saves

Which file you have depends on how your MINI was tuned. We handle both:

  • Save file

    .MaxxECU-save

    A save locked with a password or page locks. We clear the lock settings and give you the same file back.

  • Encrypted save file

    .MaxxECU-encrypted-save

    A save MTune encrypted. We decrypt it, clear the locks and give you a save file that opens in MTune.

We open your MINI map straight away and show you what we found in it. You decide whether to pay after that.

  • Map preview

    Open your own map in a window laid out like your tuning software. Part of the real values show now, and the rest unlock after you pay. Offered when your map's layout is supported.

  • Verification report

    A short report read from your unlocked file, with details such as the ECU model, firmware, engine and wiring. Things only the owner of the tune would recognise.

How it works

    Upload the locked file saved by MTune.

    We remove the lock straight away and show you a report read from your unlocked file. If your map's layout is supported, you can also browse its tables.

    If it's right, pay $159.99 by PayPal or crypto. If we can't unlock it, you pay nothing.

  4. 04

    Download the result straight away. A copy is also sent to your email.
